Question 1

How much does a full-time home cook cost per month in Delhi NCR?

Accepted Answer

ChefDarbari's full-time home cook service starts at ₹28,000 per month for the Essential Plan (2 meals/day, family of 4). The Premium Plan (3 meals/day, family of 6) is ₹38,000/month, and the Elite Plan for larger families starts at ₹52,000/month. All prices are inclusive of cook compensation, service management and replacement guarantee.

Question 2

Are your home cooks police and Aadhaar verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every cook in our network undergoes thorough background verification — including police verification, Aadhaar verification and reference checks from previous employers. Most of our cooks have worked in 3–5 star hotel kitchens before joining the ChefDarbari network.

Question 3

What if I'm not happy with the cook after the trial?

Accepted Answer

We offer a completely free trial meal before you commit to any plan. If you are not satisfied with the cook during the trial or within the first week of service, we will match you with another verified cook — at no extra cost and with no questions asked.

Question 4

Can the cook handle diet-specific meals like Jain, diabetic or keto?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our cooks are trained to follow specific dietary requirements — Jain (no onion/garlic), diabetic-friendly low-glycaemic meals, high-protein diets, keto, vegan, gluten-free and doctor-prescribed therapeutic diets. You can discuss your requirements during the free consultation.

Question 5

What cities in Delhi NCR do you serve for monthly cook service?

Accepted Answer

We currently serve Delhi (all zones), Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad for our full-time monthly home cook service. If you are in another NCR location, contact us — we may still be able to help.

Question 6

What is the minimum commitment period?

Accepted Answer

The minimum engagement is 1 month. We also offer 3-month, 6-month and annual plans with progressively better pricing. Most of our families have been with us for 6–18 months on average.

Question 7

Does the cook bring their own utensils and ingredients?

Accepted Answer

The cook uses your kitchen's utensils and equipment. Ingredients are purchased by you — your cook shares a detailed grocery list in advance so you are always prepared. For the Elite Plan, your cook can also assist with grocery sourcing.

Question 8

What happens when my cook is on leave or falls sick?

Accepted Answer

We provide a free replacement cook within 24 hours (same-day for Elite Plan subscribers) whenever your regular cook is unavailable due to leave or illness. You never have a day without a cook.
